Burger Bar

Burger Bar. This summer, maybe for your Fourth of July celebration, set up a versatile Create-Your-Own Burger Bar. Your family and guests will have fun pulling together their favorites. I’ve had success with my own Build Your Own Ultimate Nachos Bar, Tex Mex Buffet and Taco Bar, Chili Bar and Pizza Topping Bar. It’s fun to offer different food-themed tables at your event.

You’ll need at least one reserved table for the Burger Bar at your party. Fill it with different types of burgers, toppings, condiments, and buns. You can offer more than just beef burgers. Try my spicy black bean burgers, juicy turkey burgers, or sockeye salmon burgers. Add some side dishes such as my honey mustard baked beans and various salads. See my suggestions below for some ideas on what to offer. Serve what you and your guests like to eat and drink. The sky is the limit.

Set up a pretty table for your Burger Bar. A festive tablecloth with matching plates and napkins are always welcome. Be sure to remember utensils and drinking glasses for your guests. Serve the burgers in chafing dishes unless you are grilling or cooking them to order. Use bowls or squeeze bottles for the condiments and toppings. Decorative bread baskets and large bowls are good receptacles for buns. Have a separate table for your side dishes and beverages. See my side dish list below. And be sure to have a great time!
