Super Bowl XLVII will be played on Sunday February 3, 2013 pitting the Baltimore Ravens against the San Francisco 49ers for the title at the SuperDome in New Orleans. Whatever “side” you are on, and following New Orleans’ stellar reputation as a Party Town, you will need to offer some great food to eat while you and your guests watch the game and root for your favorite team. Here’s a delicious list of options for your Super Bowl Party Spread from my own favorite recipes.

All of these recipes will work well on a buffet. Set out some knives, forks, and spoons in containers, as well as some 2013 Super Bowl-themed plates, napkins, and tablecloth on a large table or countertop. Check out these cool Super Bowl 2013 Party Supplies, and click here

My Chile Con Queso Dip with Smoky Chipotles is simple to make and works well on the buffet. You might want to use a warming chafing dish and ladle for the chile con queso dip. Set tortilla chips next to the chafing dish so guests can pick up a plate and ladle some queso dip over their chips. Add a large bowl of Richard’s Party Salsa next to the queso dip.

Bake my Crazy Bacon-Topped Meatloaf to serve with buns and condiments as a super hearty sandwich to satisfy those big appetites. Serve the meatloaf sandwiches with my Creamy Coleslaw.

Spinach and Mushroom Quesadillas can be served warm or room temperature and are easy to eat.

My Award-Winning Black Bean Chili, sweeter Baked Bean Chili, and White Chicken Chili are three options for your party buffet table. Make one or make all three and have a chili-tasting contest!

Two salads that hold up well on a buffet are my Lemony Mediterranean-Style Tuna Pasta Salad with Pesto and my Minty Shrimp Couscous Salad.

Try my Festive Chicken Taco Salad as a fun assemble-it-yourself dish for your guests. Set out the ingredients in their own containers along with serving utensils. A simple option that allows everyone to customize their own taco salad.

My Mom’s deviled eggs and my cinnamon pecans can start your guests nibbling while they help you set out the rest of your Super Bowl Party Spread.
