Easy Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza. When you’re in a hurry, what’s quicker and more satisfying than a tasty flatbread pizza? This flatbread pizza starts with a garlic-flavored flatbread. Brush the flatbread with a little olive oil, add some pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and thinly sliced pepperoni and my Easy Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza comes together quickly for a weeknight meal in minutes.
You can make your own flatbreads or buy them at any grocery store. Flatbreads are widely available in many different flavors, shapes and sizes. I like to use a garlic or herb flavored flatbread yet plain works just as well.
Brush the flatbreads with a little bit of olive oil. Use your favorite pizza sauce or my favorite Roasted Tomato Sauce as the base. Sometimes I will sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on the crust before I spread on the sauce. Then, cover the sauce and cheeses with the slices of pepperoni.
Bake the topped flatbreads on a baking sheet for 5 – 8 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from the oven when the cheese is melty and bubbling. Cut the flatbreads into pieces or serve whole. Garnish with the chopped basil or parsley.
Try my BBQ chicken pizza on a flatbread, too.
